Friendly Kid’s Corner, an off-site program affiliated with Friendly House, is a state licensed child care located at Newcomb Presbyterian Church, 2619 N Division St, Davenport. Friendly Kid's Corner has child care for children ages two to five, including a preschool component. It operates from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Enrollment requirements include a current phsyical form and Iowa Department of Health Certificate of Immunization.

We use Creative Curriculum, placing a special emphasis on using the classroom as the child's textbook. It is through the design and arrangement of interest areas (housekeeping, science, blocks, library, etc.) where children will be able to explore, create and learn through a balance of teacher directed activities combined with child directed activities. Creative Curriculum goals and objectives helps us meet the Iowa Early Learning Standards, better   preparing children for Kindergarten.

A Parents Testimonial:
My children were enrolled at the Friendly Kid's Corner for several years. The staff was amazing there. I could sense that they really cared about the children and their well being! Even today my kids ask if they can go back to their "old" school because they miss their teachers and friends. The Friendly House is a great organization, and I am so thankful for their dedication to the children at the Kid's Corner and the community.

- Beth, mother of three children
