WEED AND SEED FAMILY PICNIC
Join the Weed and Seed Community and your friends, neighbors, and fellow residents for some food, games, and fun at the Weed and Seed Family Picnic on Saturday, September 18 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. It will be held at Jefferson Park, which is located behind the Friendly House, 1221 Myrtle Street).  Hot dogs, chips, cookies, lemonade, water, and condiments will be provided.  All are encouraged to participate in the activities including volleyball, bocce ball, bean bag toss, and various others. The Davenport Noon Optimist will be hosting a Baseball Tri-Star Competition for various age groups. The Tri-Star competition and other games will begin at 4:00 p.m. and continue through the evening. THANK YOU DAY FOUNDATION
Friendly House has been selected as a recipient of funding from the Doris and Victor Day Foundation. Our grant award of $1,600 will support the purchase of enrichment equipment for our youth programs.
