DO YOU NEED ASSISTANCE WITH YOUR RENT REBATE FILING?
Iowa residents may be eligible for rent rebates. Total yearly household income must be less than $20,301, and one of the following applies: 65 years of age or older, or be totally disabled and 18 years of age or older by December 31, 2009. Applicants must have proof of 2009 income, statement of when disability began, a total of rent paid in 2008, and the name, address and phone number of their landlord. Contact Jodi for details.

SHUT OFF PREVENTION PROGRAM
The Friendly House Shut Off Prevention (S.O.P.) Program for the Newly Unemployed can offer help with your gas, electric & water bills! Each family can receive assistance of up to $600. Families are eligible if you are newly-unemployed in the last 30 days up to one year and your family falls within the 150% - 300% of Federal Poverty Level.
