Friendly House offers help during the holiday season!
Thanksgiving
*Food baskets are not offered for Thanksgiving, but a community meal is hosted by Friendly House the Tuesday before Thanksgiving at Noon.
Christmas
Food and gift baskets are available for Davenport residents living west of Brady Street, south of Central Park Avenue, east of Lincoln and Elmwood Avenues. Applications are taken in the fall for distribution the Wednesday of the week prior to christmas. Gifts are available for children 16 and under. More information can be found here.
Sponsor a Family – Organizations and businesses also have an option to “sponsor a family”, and provide the gifts for one of the families who need assistance.
