WE WILL BE ASSISTING INDIVIDUALS WITH THEIR IOWA RENT REBATE FORMS AGAIN THIS YEAR.
Iowa residents may be eligible for rent rebates through the IRS. Eligibility depends on total yearly household income, and one of the following applies: 65 years of age or older, or be totally disabled and 18 years of age or older by December 31. Applicants must have proof of the current year’s income, the total of rent paid, disability award letter (if applicable), and the name, address and phone number of their landlord. Friendly House will assist individuals with completing the rent rebate forms.
Forms are accepted through the Iowa HHS from January 1 through May 31.
